Eros TimesNew Delhi:EROS TIMES: December –Delhi Congress, under the leadership of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Subhash Chopra, will start agitations from 8 December, 2019 to protest against the financial fleecing by the DDA in the name of regularisation of unauthorised colonies and giving ownership rights to those living in unauthorised colonies.
For, if Clause 7A in the Gazette Notification, issued on October 29, 2019 is applied, then over 900 colonies will got out of the ambit of regularisation of unauthorised colonies.
Delhi Congress has decided to start a “Halla Bol Abhiyan” in all the Assembly constituencies to protest against the betrayal of lakhs of people living in unauthorised colonies by both BJP and AAP Governments.
Senior leader and Chief Spokesperson Mukesh Sharma, addressing a press conference at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan here today, announced that on 8 December, 2019 a Halla Bol rally will be held at the Chattarpur Assembly constituency in the South Delhi Parliamentary constituency.
The rally will be presided over by former area MLA Balram Tanwar. Besides DPCC president Subhash Chopra, the rally will be addressed by ex-MP Ramesh Kumar and other senior leaders of the party.
Mukesh Sharma said that in the Chattarpur Assembly constituency alone, 21 unauthorised colonies will go out of the ambit of regularisation of 1731 colonies as they fall under the well-off category.
He expressed surprise that not only a big conspiracy is being hatched to keep out 25 to 50-gaj plot holders from the purview of regularisation, but big corruption is also involved in such a move.
He said that thousands of people from these colonies will participate in the Chattarpur rally, and a resolution will also be passed against the BJP Government at the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi.
Exposing the big corruption behind the move to regularise unauthorised colonies, Mukesh Sharma said that in the O-Zone category, not only the colonies, but the revenue of the village is also taken into account.
He wondered whether such colonies are known by the name of the colonies or the revenue of them. He said that Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri is trying to mislead the people of Delhi as the truth is that there are over 965 colonies which will be affected by Clause 7A of the Gazette notification.
Mukesh Sharma, exposing another conspiracy against unauthorised colonies, said that on point 12 of the conditions put forward by the Union Government on 24th July, 2019, for which the opinion of the AAP Government in Delhi was sought, it has been stated that the Registration fee to be charged from the unauthorised colonies will be equal to the one at the nearest colony.
Giving an example, he said that on the one hand, Vikaspuri and Janakpuri have been categorised under ‘D’ category, while on the other hand, colonies in West Delhi such as Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Jeevan Park, Vikas Nagar etc come under the ‘G’ category.
But in the end, people in these colonies will have to pay on the basis of ‘D’ category colonies.
Mukesh Sharma disclosed that in the name of giving ownership rights, the DDA is looting people of unauthorised colonies in a calculated manner, as there is talk of charging between Rs 3500 to Rs 8000 just for giving slips, whereas houses on 100-gaj plots constructed by people for their families by erecting three to four floors will end up paying Rs 1 lakh for the slips, which the people of these colonies are opposing.
