NewDelhi:ERTOS TIMES: Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia released the Delhi Government’s calendar for the year 2020 which has a special focus on the major endeavors of Delhi Govt. for infrastructural improvement of schools. The theme of the calendar is “Incredible Story of Delhi Government Schools”.
Manish Sisodia said, “When I ask people about the development work brought about by the Delhi Government in the last five years, they always speak about the progress this city has made in the domain of Education.
To keep education in the minds of the people and the revolution brought about in the government schools of Delhi, we are releasing this calendar today.”
“The Incredible Story of Delhi Government Schools” focuses on the huge infrastructural transformation brought about by the dedicated efforts of the Delhi Government in collaboration with DTTDC.
The idea behind choosing this theme is to emphasize on the importance and vitality of education in our lives.
From establishing a conductive atmosphere for the students by providing access to well-furnished classrooms, well-equipped labs, clean and hygienic toilets along with constructing well-lit auditoriums and clean swimming pools for the students, the Delhi school system has come a long way.
Like every year, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has brought out this theme-based calendar on behalf of Government of Delhi, bringing to fore the infrastructural transformation of Delhi Government Schools and quality upgradation in the overall experience of its students.
“ People should know that the Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation (DTTDC) has played a very important role in developing infrastructure of Delhi Government schools and carrying out their overall renovation.
Delhi Government Schools are crucial spaces wherein a child learns to imbibe the best possible aspects of their surroundings,” said Manish Sisodia.
World Class Infrastructure developed by Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation and made available to students by the Govt. of Delhi for enabling holistic wellbeing amongst children at school.
The Calendar was launched in a special ceremony by Honorable Dy CM, Manish Sisodia along with other senior Government officials.
“Each teacher of the Delhi Government School will be given this calendar,” said Manish Sisodia.
Delhi Tourism has been publishing the theme -calendar every year on behalf of Delhi Govt. for over past three decades.
Last year the theme commemorated the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and was conceptualized on his many visits to Delhi between 1915 and 1948.
The Calendar became very popular amidst the industry and also won a prize.
