Chief Minister’s Statement on the Regularization Claims of Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi

Delhi:EROS TIMES:  We were shocked to know from the FAQs published officially in the DDA website that the Bill passed by Parliament was not meant for the regularization of the unauthorized colonies in Delhi.
Usually, parties engage in Politics.
But it is a very sad instance to note that the union government provides false information.
The second question in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) published in the DDA website was “Is this scheme meant for regularization of unauthorized colonies?” and the answer given was “No, the scheme is not about the regularization of unauthorized colonies or the structures therein”.
It means the scheme is not meant for the regularization of either the colonies or the houses, as ‘structure means houses’.
Then what this scheme is all about? Hoardings with the image of the honorable Prime Minister have been installed across Delhi claiming that 1728 unauthorized colonies in Delhi are regularized. In these hoardings, the term ‘unauthorized’ is stricken off and the term ‘regularized’ is inserted.
How do these colonies become regularized, if the scheme is not meant for that, as conveyed officially in the DDA website? Is it misleading the people of Delhi with blatant lies by the union government and BJP? Why the people of Delhi were told lies? Just for votes?
Till now, has anyone got registry for ownership of property in the unauthorized colonies in Delhi?
No one got. Without registry how does the promised ownership become real? Under the scheme announced, neither ownership is given, nor is the regularization of the colonies done. It is nothing but fooling the people of Delhi.
It is not right and acceptable.
Do concrete development works in Delhi and ask for votes from the people.
We made roads and developed streets in unauthorized colonies, which are visible, that neither BJP nor Congress can deny it.
But BJP claims that ownership rights have been given to the people living in 1728 unauthorized colonies in Delhi, but they are asking where, when and to whom the rights were formally given? No papers and documents available, but simply speaking in the air.
Now, BJP is promising that pucca houses will be built for the people in the slums in Delhi. We conducted surveys and distributed certificates and now people at least have some concrete documents.
